Community-Impact Projects
"If you cannot feed a hundred people, then feed just one"
Supporting Youth Groups
Onego Agribusiness is a youth group that focuses on agriculture as a source of livelihood for the youth. I have had the privilege of engaging this group through its leaders and sharing a little support with them to facilitate their activities. My principle is to meet the people where they are and support them to implement their projects.
We have also supported soccer teams with balls, meals, and facilitation to participate in tournaments. Nyadero FC is an example of local clubs that we have supported.
Building houses
Supported 3 people in the village to put up better houses for themselves. For two people, I supported the entire project while for one person, I basically augmented what they already had to speed up the process.
Restoring Community-owned Water Projects
Our CBO, Regeneration of Kisumu works with communities and change leaders to identify community water projects that have stalled. We then support those communities to revive the projects, to pipe the water to their homes, and to have a sustainable utilization of water resource.
Would you like to support a community-impact project?
